Jackson Prentice Real Estate Services, LLC (JPRES) is a commercial investment and real estate firm specializing in the sale and lease of properties in the Washington DC Metropolitan area. The company was founded by Jackson Prentice and his wife, Mary Ruth, in 1973. He was born in Washington, DC in 1949.
Mr. Prentice expanded his real estate services in 1988 to form Jackson Prentice Management Inc., specializing in comprehensive management of commercial and investment properties in the Metropolitan area. We currently manage seventeen (17) incoming producing properties, including three strip shopping centers in Washington and Virginia.
Hannah Prentice, Associate Broker, graduated from the University of Virginia in 2003. She started working at JPRES in 2004 and received her Masters in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins Univeristy in 2008. She is on the alumni board of Saint Stephen's and Saint Agnes School in Alexandria, VA and serves on the Real Estate Forum Board of JHU.
Betty Davis, VP of Operations, oversees daily management tasks including landlord tenant relations, soliciting service contract bids, overseeing them with our management team and preparing monthly Income and Expense Reports for each of our investors/owners. JPRES has a full-time, 24 hour on call maintained department and uses the latest management software, PMAS 3.0, producing the most comprehensive management reports for our investors.
JPRES has participated in multiple hard to acquire land acquisitions for assemblage development deals and has represented exclusively many national developers such as: Douglas Development, Akridge Company, Western Development, Trammell Crow, Bundy Development, Development Resources Inc. (DRI), MRP Realty, JBG Companies, Greenberg Capital Corp., JPI, Rock Creek Property Group, Donohoe Companies, and Camrax Inc of New York City.
